Texas Hold'em can continue in Kentwood until state rules on charity games - Grand Rapids News - The Grand Rapids Press Online - Michigan Newspaper - MLive.com: "KENTWOOD — City Commissioners want a formal opinion from the state Liquor Control Commission and the state Attorney General's office concerning licensing and charitable gaming in city establishments with liquor licenses.
Because that answer likely will take time, City Commissioners adopted an emergency city ordinance amendment Tuesday, allowing charitable gaming in licensed establishments until Feb. 15, 2009. The ordinance takes effect Nov. 5."
