Murphy lauds signing of charities bill - Burlington, MA - Burlington Union: "Rep. Charley Murphy is announces that legislation he sponsored to ease financial reporting requirements on Massachusetts’ smaller public charities was signed into law by Gov. Deval Patrick earlier this month.
The new law exempts those charities that receive less than $200,000, in gross support and revenue from having to submit to the state a complete audited financial statement along with their annual report."
