Murphy lauds signing of Charities Bill - Tewksbury, MA - Tewksbury Advocate: "State Rep. Charles Murphy announced this week that legislation he sponsored to ease financial reporting requirements on the state’s smaller public charities was signed into law by Gov. Deval Patrick earlier this month.
The new law exempts those charities that receive less than $200,000 in gross support and revenue from having to submit to the state a complete audited financial statement along with their annual report."
