Baucus Announces Hearing to Seek Ways to Efficiently Stimulate Charitable Giving | Planned Giving Design Center: Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) will convene a hearing on Tuesday to consider how tax reform can efficiently stimulate charitable giving. The hearing, titled "Tax Reform Options: Incentives for Charitable Giving," will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. This hearing is the latest in a set of hearings being held this fall to examine various segments of the economy and tax code.
